Welcome to Bangkok
Welcome to the Euroasia ASEAN Concerto Competition 2026! We are delighted to have you join us in Bangkok from 6 to 8 November, along with young pianists and violinists from across Asia and beyond, for a weekend devoted to the music of Mozart in the year of his 270th anniversary.
Over the weekend you will rehearse and perform with the Siam Sinfonietta, one of Asia’s leading orchestras, under conductors Trisdee na Patalung and Voraprach Wongsathapornpat. You will play before an international jury, on a Bösendorfer concert grand at Yamaha Music Thailand. The weekend opens on Friday evening with a welcome reception at the Austrian Ambassador’s Residence. It closes on Sunday with a concert and awards ceremony, where the winners will take the stage once more.
A competition is only one part of the journey. We hope you will also take home new friendships, the experience of working with a professional orchestra, and some happy memories of Bangkok.
Below you will find everything you need for the weekend: the full schedule, rehearsal and competition times, venue details and directions, hotel and rooming information, practice room bookings, and key contacts. Please read it carefully, and do not hesitate to reach out to the organising team if you have any questions.
We look forward to welcoming you, and to hearing you play.
Warm regards,
The Organising Committee
Euroasia Association of Performing Arts & Bangkok Opera Foundation
